Price list of private accommodation for the season 2008. - apartments and rooms

In front of you is the price list of apartment and room rent in private accommodation. The specified prices are common for all private accommodation on the islands of Losinj and Cres. This price list is informative and can give an insight into the fluctuation of prices of rent. Each accommodation unit from our offer has its own price list, formulated according to the common price list, but with modifications on the basis of the quality of accommodation, equippedness, closeness of the sea and attractiveness of the view.

Price list of accommodation and payment

Prices offered by the agency vary between accommodation units and are specified for each accommodation unit separately. The price lists are specified in euros, and are based on the exchange rate of kuna to foreign currencies. Payment is done in the office of the agency, exclusively in kunas, according to the price list of the service provider certified by the local tourist office. Payment in euros is not possible, and before paying, you should exchange them for kunas in local exchange offices. We do not accept checks - payment is possible only in cash or with credit cards.

Agency’s commission-fee and covert expenses

artMedias tourist agency mediates in the rent of accommodation it offers without charging a commission-fee and additional expenses to the guest in certain cases:

- Commission-fee 5%: The agency’s commission-fee for each reservation is 5% of the total price of accommodation and is charged to the guest when a discount is not possible.
- Commission-fee 0% for advance payment done with a credit card (up to 30% of total price), through bank or postal transfer, and subsequent payment of the remaining amount in cash in the office of the agency, we give a discount of -5%, that is, the commission-fee is free of charge !.
- Commission-fee 0% For payment of the total amount through a bank or postal transfer (but not with a credit card), we give a discount for cash of -5%, that is, the commission-fee is free of charge !

The agency guarantees that the prices in its offer are the same as the prices in the accommodation unit, and that there are no additional or covert costs.

Private apartments are located in the private houses of local renters. These apartments are intended for guests who want comfort on their vacation. Apartments are categorized with *** or **** stars, depending on the equippedness and quality. They are completely furnished and consist of one, two, three or four bedrooms, kitchen with kitchen utensils and cutlery, and a bathroom with a shower and toilet. They can have additional supplementary beds in the living room, kitchen or bed rooms. Most apartments have their own terrace or balcony. There is a possibility of private parking or parking in front of the house.

A studio apartment consists of two rooms, one furnished as a living room and intended for eating, cooking and sleeping, and the other as a bathroom. A studio apartment can have additional beds that can be folded and used during the day as armchairs.

Rooms in private accommodation are also located in private houses of local renters. Most rooms offer breakfast, sometimes half-board, and the guest can choose whether he or she wants to use this possibility or not. The room is one-bed or with a marriage-bed, a wardrobe and sink with hot and cold water. Rooms marked S1 are categorized as *** stars and have their own bathroom, whereas rooms marked S2 are categorized as ** stars and share a bathroom with another room.

Residence tax

The sojourn fee is included in the price of rent of accommodation according to the Amendments to the Law on Sojourn Tax from 2005. All tourists must be registered by the owner of accommodation units with the tourist agency within 24 hours from arrival.

Booking

To confirm the requested reservation, the guest makes an obligatory advance payment whose amount varies from 10% to 50%, depending on the accommodation unit. The remaining amount to the total price of the arrangement is paid in the office of the artMedias agency. The advance payment can be paid through bank or postal transfer or on-line with credit cards.

The right to modify prices

In cases of a significant increase of the value of euro in relation to kuna, the agency has the right to modify the prices of accommodation according to the new situation on the market. The agency can then no longer guarantee the price agreed on in the advance payment and confirmation of reservation.
